Dhyan Meditation ("the app", "we", "us") is designed to work without an account and without sending your practice anywhere. This policy explains what the app stores, what leaves your device, and your choices.
The app keeps the following in its private storage on your device:
This information is never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes it.
Dhyan Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is processed by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies; we never see your payment details.
To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device information (such as platform and app version). It does not receive your name, email address or meditation history. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
"Restore purchases" asks Apple or Google for purchases already made with your store account.
If you turn on the daily reminder, the app asks for permission to show notifications and schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose. Nothing is sent to a server. You can turn the reminder off in the app or withdraw permission in your device settings at any time.
Ambient music plays from a file bundled with the app. The app does not use the microphone, camera, contacts, photos or location. While a session is running the app keeps the screen awake.
The Share and Rate options open your device's share sheet or the app store page. Nothing is shared without your action.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page and the "Last updated" date above changes.
